Philadelphia police and the FBI are trying to identify a brazen bandit who robbed an Old City bank in the middle of the day Monday.

Investigators said a man around 10:15 a.m. walked into the Prudential Savings Bank branch at 28 N. 3rd St., just above Market Street, and handed the teller a demand note. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-7-inch tall, thin white male in his mid- to late-20s. He was last seen wearing tan coveralls, a red hooded sweatshirt, a Phillies baseball cap and dark-colored gloves.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000. Officials said there may be a reward for information leading to the man's arrest.
