Police are looking for trio of thieves accused of taking cash, jewelry and electronics during a home invasion in North Philadelphia early Saturday.

A 35-year-old man told investigators he was inside his home on the 200 block of West Allegheny Avenue about 3:30 a.m., when he saw three men dressed in all black clothing break in through a rear window.

One man leveled a black handgun at the victim; another struck him in the back of his head with an unknown blunt object, police said.

The suspects stole $6,300 in cash, two cell phones, a 40-inch Samsung television, and $1,000 worth of jewelry before fleeing on foot through the back of the house, according to investigators.

They were described as Hispanic males between the ages of 19 and 25, each about 5 feet 9 and 140 pounds. No arrest was reported.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Philadelphia police.
