Fifteen people were arrested Friday at a sobriety checkpoint in Montgomery County.

The North Penn DUI Task Force set up the checkpoint along Main Street in Lansdale because the area was "identified as a location where alcohol has been a significant factor," according to a news release from the Hatfield Township Police Department.

Ten drivers were taken into custody on suspicion of DUI-related offenses; four people were arrested for drug-related offenses, and one man was found to be wanted for a felony state parole violation, police said. The identities of those arrested were not immediately released.

Assisting agencies included the Hatfield Township, Franconia Township, Lower Salford Township, Upper Gwynned Township, Towamencin Township, Lansdale Borough, and Telford Borough police departments and the Upper Perk Police District. The Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Landsdale also provided assistance, police said.
