Mega Millions ticket worth $1M sold at Philly pharmacy

A Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Rite Aid on Fairmount Avenue in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia.

A Mega Millions ticket sold in the Spring Garden section of the city won a $1 million prize in Tuesday's drawing.

The ticket, purchased at the Rite Aid at 1924 Fairmount Ave., matched all five white balls, 03-07-44-63-67, the Pennsylvania Lottery said in a news release.

It did not match the yellow Mega Ball of 12, which would have netted the ticket holder about $172 million.

The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified, according to the lottery.

The holder is encouraged to sign the back of the ticket and file a claim at a Pennsylvania Lottery office.

The Mega Millions jackpot grew to an estimated $188 million annuity or $119.2 million cash prize for the Jan. 2 drawing.
