Man fatally shot in head in Philadelphia
A man died after he was shot in the head in the Castor section overnight.
Officers responded to a shooting on the 7100 block of Whitaker Avenue at about 12:15 a.m., said Officer Christine O'Brien, a Philadelphia police spokeswoman.
A man in his 20s had been shot once in the head, she said. The man, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information about a suspect or motive was available.
