Man fatally shot in Kensington
A 20-year-old Norristown man has been arrested in the "brutal" stabbing murder of a teen, whose partially burned body was found in an apartment earlier this month.
A man was found shot to death in Kensington early this morning.
Philadelphia police said officers received a report of a man with a gun on the 700 block of East Allegheny Avenue shortly before 4:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, a man who had been shot was found on the street.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:50 a.m.
The man was in his 20s or 30s, police said. No other information about his identity was available.
Police had no information about possible suspects.
