Camden house collapses after car crash

Two people were injured when a car they were in crashed at a Camden house Monday night.  The structure then collapsed, according to police and media reports.

The two-story brick home at N. 10th and Linden streets was boarded up and it did not appear that anyone was inside when it collapsed during the 11 p.m. incident.

Emergency crews responding to the scene found a male and female inside the vehicle unconscious.  They were pinned inside, but crews managed to free them.  They were taken to Cooper University Hospital.

No one else was injured.

It was not clear if the car struck the house directly.

The W. Hargrove Demolition company razed the house early this morning.
