Hearing today for teens charged in Center City brawl

A detention hearing is scheduled for today for some of the teenagers charged in a massive Center City brawl.

Ten juveniles are facing charges of conspiracy, obstructing highways, failure to disperse and disorderly conduct in the Tuesday brawl near 15th and Chestnut streets, according to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.

Police say 100 to 200 teens were involved in the rowdy mob, which gathered shortly before 4 p.m.

The District Attorney's Office said the hearing for the 10 teens will take place at the Youth Study Center.

Four other teens were also arrested and are still being processed by police, authorities said.
