Four charged with beating, forcibly tattooing man inside Mayfair home

Four people have been arrested for allegedly holding a man captive for two days in a Northeast Philadelphia home and during that time tattooing him repeatedly with racial slurs and sexual images, police said today.

The unidentified victim, 52, said the four suspects allegedly held him prisoner in a house he shared with three of the suspects in the Northeast's Mayfair section from 3 p.m. Sunday until 9 a.m. yesterday, according to police.

The four suspects are: Corry Campbell, 20, Sandra Ng, 19, and Jennifer Pratt, 29, all of the 3100 block of Brighton Street where they shared a house with the victim; and David Thomas, 27, of the 9300 block of Jamison Street.

A search of the home turned up 155 grams of marijuana, several bottles of Xanax and Oxycodone, various tattoo ink bottles, a tattoo station and needles, and a tattoo gun, police said. The victim's debit card was also found.

The victim "displayed severely bruised and swollen hands, bruised eyes along with bruising to his legs, ribs and torso," police said in a statement. "The complainant informed police that he called 911 and left the location when the offenders fell asleep."

Investigators said Tuesday that the home is a known a nuisance property. Police have been called to the address 20 times over the past several years.
