Driver ejected, car off highway in serious Pa. Turnpike crash

A crash on the westbound lanes of Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bucks County is backing up traffic this afternoon, state police said Thursday.

A corporal at the King of Prussia station said a crash at 3:21 p.m. left at least one vehicle off the highway's right shoulder at mile marker 357 in Bristol, but he could not confirm a preliminary report that at least one driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

An on-scene emergency responder could be heard on dispatch radio saying one "driver was ejected" from a  vehicle.
