Updated: DNC events for Wednesday, July 27

Parties, pols, pontificators, and protests

Day Three of the Democratic National Convention brings plenty of wonky star power to Philadelphia, along with (what already feels like routine) pro-Bernie events.

President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are scheduled to speak at the Wells Fargo Center along with former Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey. Idina Menzel will perform. We'll post the full schedule when the DNC releases it later Wednesday morning.

Celebrity-studded soirees for delegates include a pricey gala Wednesday night with Fergie at the Electric Factory (the cheap seats are going for $7,500) and a free Fergie-less reunion of the Black-Eyed Peas, at the same hour, a little farther uptown at the Fillmore.

A chronological list, which follows, will be updated through the day as more information becomes available.  (* indicates the city has issued a permit for the event)
