One teen killed, another hurt in Kensington double shooting

A 16-year-old boy was also injured in the shooting, but was listed in stable condition, police said.

A 14-year-old boy was killed and a 16-year-old boy injured in a double shooting in Kensington Monday night, police said.

The teens were on the 2000 block of East Orleans Street when an unknown person or persons opened fire around 9:33 p.m. The 14-year-old was struck several times in his back and neck and the 16-year-old was shot once in his left shoulder, police said.

Both victims were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where the younger teen, identified Tuesday as Tymier Fraiser, was pronounced dead at 10:03 p.m.

The 16-year-old was listed in stable condition, police said. His name was not released.

Authorities are still searching for a motive and a suspect in the case.
