2 Camden drug dealers sentenced

Two Camden drug dealers were sentenced this week for their roles in a large-scale drug trafficking organization that federal prosecutors likened to a "drive-through restaurant."

Marqueis "Marty" Thomas Randall, 23, was sentenced Friday to 100 months in prison in U.S. District Court in Camden. Elquinzie "Quince" Lewis, 23, was sentenced Sept. 29 to 48 months.

Rand and Lewis, who were arrested in April 2013, were street-level workers for the enterprise which sold cocaine and heroinnear Eighth and Tulip Streets, a retail plaza on the 700 block of Morgan Blvd., and the Crestbury Apartments public housing project, prosecutors said. The drug sets were easily accessible from I-676 and I-76.

Randall pleaded guilty to a count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base and 100 grams or more of heroin. He also pleaded to a count of being a previously convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Lewis plead guilty to using a communications facility to further a drug trafficking crime.
