Bolaris: Sun expected, but storms will hover this weekend

They say timing is just about everything in life and the same can certainly be said about your weekend forecast this week.

They say timing is just about everything in life and the same can certainly be said about your weekend forecast this week.

Yes, we have showers and storms in the forecast, but if "the timing" is just right both Saturday and Sunday, it should turn out mainly dry during the days, with the best chance of seeing scattered showers and storms at night.

Here is the breakdown:

Saturday: rising heat and humidity, with the chance of a late day storm, northwest of Philly. There will be some sun and clouds with a high of 88 degrees.

Saturday Night: a few scattered storms possible, with the best chance north and west of Philly. Low 72.

Sunday: hazy sun, very warm and humid with strong to possibly severe storms arriving by sunset. High 88.

Don't cancel your shore plans this weekend as both Saturday and Sunday will see a decent amount of hazy sun with temperatures in the low 80s.

Its a very tricky forecast and if the timing is off by a few hours, you get wet and my head gets stuck in the mud.

(Best chances of a storm are Saturday night and early Sunday morning.)

Widespread showers and storms will hold off until Sunday night and into Monday.
