Officials said AT&T customers are now able to dial 911 for emergencies after a temporary disruption Wednesday night that affected users in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties.
"Issue has been resolved that affected some calls to 911 from wireless customers. We apologize to those who were affected," AT&T tweeted at 10:30 p.m.
Bucks County confirmed that they were again able to receive 911 calls from AT&T customers.
Montgomery County was the first to report problems shortly after 9 p.m.
Other law-enforcement agencies from Texas to Florida also reported 911 problems for AT&T customers.
