Barber killed after argument

An argument between two barbers in the Swampoodle section of North Philadelphia Friday night ended with the shooting death of one of the barbers, a 30-year-old man, police said.

Police have not yet made an arrest in the shooting, which happened at the corner of N. 24th St. and W. Lehigh Ave. at 10:20 p.m., said Det. Tracy Byard.

He would not release the name of the victim, who was shot four times and pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 11:38 p.m.
