Police are investigating a pair of double shootings that occurred overnight in Northeast Philadelphia.
In the first incident, a man and woman were gunned down in front of a Rite Aid pharmacy on the 6500 block of Castor Avenue just after 11:30 p.m.
Philadelphia police said the 55-year-old man was shot three times in his abdomen and was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital in critical condition.
A 46-year-old woman also suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was hospitalized in stable condition, police said. 6ABC was reporting that the couple was engaged.
