Bucks County teacher found guilty of making threats.

A Bucks County elementary school teacher was found guilty today of eleven counts of planting terrorizing notes throughout Longstreth Elementary School last fall when she was a fourth-grade teacher there.

The jury deliberated for eleven hours yesterday and today before reaching its verdict in the case of Susan Romanyszyn. She was found not guilty of creating a weapon of mass destruction and on other threat counts.

Romanyszyn wiped tears from her eyes when she heard the verdict. Her lawyers patted her consolingly on the back.

"I think it will give people peace of mind to have closure," said Keely Mahan, the principal of the Warminster elementary school. "But it is not a happy time. It is a sad situation."

Romanyszyn will remain under house arrest until her sentencing which will be in approximately 30 days. She faces a total of 73 years in prison if she were to serve consecutive sentences for the eleven counts.

As she left the Bucks County Court House in Dolyestown,Romanyszyn told reporters, "I'm innocent."
