Breakdowns disrupt PATCO service

A pair of train breakdowns halted service on PATCO for about an hour during Monday morning's rush hour.

PATCO said one train broke down near near the 12/13th and Locust Street station about 8 a.m. and then a second train experienced problems on the Philadephia side of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.

There is only one operating track across the bridge because of a rail replacement project on the northside of the span.

Trains were running again just before 9 a.m.
