DOYLESTOWN Following the arrest of three Bucks County residents in the beating of a gay couple in Philadelphia last month, dozens of county residents are expected to attend a "Love Over Hate" rally in Doylestown on Wednesday, according to organizers.

The rally, to be held from 5 to 6 p.m. in front of the courthouse, is set to include short speeches from Caryn Kunkle, a close friend of the victims, as well as the mayors of Doylestown and New Hope, according to organizer Marlene Pray.

Pray said the event was designed to show solidarity with the victims and demonstrate that the crimes are "not what Bucks County stands for and believes."
