Woman's body found in Chesco lake

The state police are investigating after the body of a 35-year-old woman was pulled from a lake at Marsh Creek State Park Thursday night.

The woman, who was found by a fisherman shortly before 11 p.m. in the Upper Uwchlan Township park, was identified by police as Jessica Danielle Offord of Royersford, Montgomery County, police said.

Trooper Waleska Gonzalez said Offord was running at the park before her death. She said there are no signs of foul play.

"Right now we don't have any indication of what happened," Gonzalez said.

No further details have been released and a cause of death has not been determined, Gonzalez said.
