Man shot to death in Frankford

A man who may have been breaking into a car was fatally shot by the owner Thursday night in the city's Frankford section, police said.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of Torresdale Avenue, police said. The man who was shot may have been trying to enter a car there when he was confronted by the owner.
