Bass fishermen in a boat discovered a badly decomposed but clothed body floating in the Delaware River near Fort Mifflin, south of the Navy Yard, around 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, police said. The police department marine unit boat 3 recovered the skeletal remains that appeared to be that of a male, based on the clothing, a few feet from shore, a police officer said. The body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office. Homicide has been informed. - Bob Fernandez
