Falling car kills worker at Bucks garage

A worker at an auto-body shop was killed in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, on Monday when a vehicle he was working on collapsed on top of him, according to police.

The incident occurred at Negrete's Auto Service on Bristol Pike, police said. One of the jack stands collapsed and the vehicle fell off onto the man, police said. They did not identify the victim.

Police said they had asked the Occupational Health and Safety Administration to assist with the investigation.

No other details were immediately available Monday evening.
