Police ID victim in fatal Philadelphia shooting

Philadelphia police Sunday identified the man who was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in the 4200 block of North Penn Street as Robert Knight, 34, of the 400 block of Levick Street.

Spokeswoman Tanya Little said officers from the 15th District who were responding to a report of a person with a gun found Knight on the porch of a home suffering from gunshot wounds to an arm and leg.

Police, who are continuing to investigate, said a black vehicle was reported to have fled the scene.
