Committee of 70 elects interim president

The independent watchdog group Committee of Seventy has picked Ellen Mattleman Kaplan as its interim president and CEO, taking over for a retiring Zack Stalberg. Kaplan, a former Philadelphia assistant district attorney, has been the group's vice president for policy since 2005. - Inquirer staff
