N. Phila. shooting victim seeks refuge on SEPTA bus

The victim of a shooting in North Philadelphia sought refuge on a SEPTA bus Saturday night, according to a SEPTA official.

The Route 60 bus was at the intersection of West Glenwood and Allegheny Avenues at about 10:45 Saturday night when a person who had just been shot got on the bus, a SEPTA spokeswoman said.

The bus driver continued to the intersection of North Broad Street and Allegheny and called for help. Police in the 25th District were investigating but had no information about the victim's identity, gender or condition.
