Day-care fire cause unknown; Monday classes moved
The cause of a weekend fire that damaged a Levittown day-care center and left two firefighters injured remains unknown, officials said.
The blaze began about 2 p.m. Saturday at the Magic Cottage facility on Appletree Drive. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the fire, which was closed at the time.
The school provides weekday care and playtime activities to children ranging from infants to kindergartners. Its Monday programs will be held at the Magic Cottage in Yardley at 100 Floral Vale Blvd.
The Bristol Township Fire Marshal's Office is investigating, according to the Levittown Fire Co. No. 2.
