Man shot dead at West Phila. hotel

Police are investigating a homicide at a West Philadelphia hotel Thursday morning.

Police are investigating a homicide at a West Philadelphia hotel Thursday morning.

Officers arrived at the Blue Moon Hotel on Westminster Avenue around 10:40 a.m. to find a 33-year-old man who had been shot multiple times, according to a homicide detective.

He was semiconscious and taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead. The victim's name has not been released pending notification of the family.
