10-year-old bicyclist injured in Frankford hit-and-run

A 10-year-old boy riding a bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday evening in the city's Frankford section, police said.

The boy was hit by a white minivan at 7:39 p.m. in the area of Jackson and Granite Streets, police said. The minivan was last seen traveling south on Jackson.

Medics took the boy to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in stable condition with possible head and abdominal injuries.   - Robert Moran
