Vigil scheduled for Montco teen killed by car

Pottsgrove High School will hold a memorial service and candlelight vigil Friday afternoon for Timothy Paciello, the 16-year-old who was killed this week when a car struck him as he crossed the street.

Pottsgrove High School will hold a memorial service and candlelight vigil Friday afternoon for Timothy Paciello, the 16-year-old who was killed this week when a car struck him as he crossed the street.

The service will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning with a brief assembly in the auditorium of the school where Paciello was a student. Aftewrward, candles will be lit in the band entrance parking lot. Parking is available in the rear lot near the band entrance.

The school is encouraging participants to bring candles and wear purple, Paciello's favorite color, for the event. The school is located at 1345 Kauffman Road in Pottstown.
