Shooting suspects arrested after South Philly chase

Police are questioning four people who they believe may have been involved in the fatal shooting early Sunday of a man gunned down in the 2200 block of Hemberger Street in South Philadelphia.

Police are questioning four people who they believe may have been involved in the fatal shooting early Sunday of a man gunned down in the 2200 block of Hemberger Street in South Philadelphia.

The victim, 27, who was not identified pending notification of his relatives, was shot several times shortly after dawn. He was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Police detained some of the suspects after they chased a vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting. The homicide unit declined to release the names of any suspects.
