Man, 39, shot dead in car in Camden

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man inside a car in Camden's Parkside neighborhood.

The victim has been identified as Carlos Perry, 39, of the 1100 block of Princess Avenue.

Officials said he was shot multiple times about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday while sitting in a green Honda a few blocks away on the 1000 block of Langham Avenue.

Ortiz was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he died early today.

No word yet on a possible motive.
