An 18-month-old Bensalem girl is in critical condition, and the mother's 27-year boyfriend has been charged with felony aggravated assault, child endangerment and related offenses.

On Sunday, Adrian Morgan Allen, who has addresses in both Bristol Township and Camden, called his girlfriend to tell her young daughter was "sick and vomiting," according to police.

Upon returning to her home in the 2500 block of Knights Road, the mother found the toddler unresponsive in her crib and rushed her to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.

The child was then flown to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where she was in critical condition, according to police.

Allen was supposed to have been watching the woman's three children from Friday night until Sunday.

He was taken to Bucks County Prison Monday after bail was set at 10 percent of $1 million by Bensalem District Judge Leonard Brown.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bensalem Police Special Victims Unit at 215-633-3658.
