The National Weather Service forecast for Saturday night's New Year's Eve fireworks displays on the Delaware River calls for partly cloudy skies with lows around 37.

On New Year's Day, Mummers and parade watchers can expect mostly sunny skies with the mercury heading toward 55 in the afternoon, the NWS says.

And if you're hitting the road today to ring in the New Year elsewhere, the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 53.

There's a chance of showers overnight, but skies will start clearing Saturday morning with the temperature heading for a high near 46.

On Monday, hockey fans attending the Winter Classic match between the Flyers and New York Rangers at Citizens Bank Park can expect partly sunny skies with breezes out of the northwest and a high near 43.

After Monday, a bit of a cold snap takes hold with predicted daytime highs of 32 on Tuesday, 33 on Wednesday and 37 on Thursday. Overnight lows will be in the mid to low 20s.
