Glouco man arrested in Hammonton stabbing deaths

A Wenonah man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the stabbing deaths of a mother and son in Hammonton, N.J., this month, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel announced.

Patrick Latko, 32, was charged with murder in the deaths of Diana Patterson, 64, and her son, Ryan, 29, a well-known motocross racer.

Early Nov. 3, police found the victims dead in their home, each with multiple wounds. Three days later, authorities found a knife, believed to be the murder weapon, in the yard of a nearby residence.

Latko also faces multiple weapons charges. He is being held on $2 million bail.    - Inquirer staff
