Homicide detectives are still sorting through the details of the shooting deaths of two intruders during an apparent home invasion robbery in Frankford Wednesday night.

The pair, plus two others who were wounded, were shot by a resident of the house, the scene of another robbery two weeks ago by at least two of the same intruders on Nov. 6, police said.

Police said this morning that homicide investigators have not yet confirmed the identities of the two dead men. The names of the wounded men also have not been released.

No one has been charged yet.

Police said the four men broke into the house on 5200 block of Burton Street before 10 p.m. Wednesday and one of a resident opened fire with a shotgun.

Medics pronounced two of the men dead at then scene and the other two turned up later at separate hospitals.

One of them, 20, suffered shotgun wounds to a hand, a leg, and the buttocks and was reported in stable condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center. The other, 22, was shot in the abdomen and reported in critical condition at Frankford Hospital.
