Kelly Drive reopened after flooding

Kelly Drive was reopened Wednesday evening after being closed because of flooding between Midvale Avenue and North Ferry Road, police said.

Heavy rains caused the Schuylkill River to spill onto the roadway. One motorist on Twitter called Kelly Drive a "parking lot."

Traffic also was jammed along nearby roadways.
