Delco drugstore robber threatens to detonate a bomb

A gunman who threatened to blow up a bomb robbed a Walgreens in Chadds Ford Township at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, getting away with four bottles of oxycodone, police said.

A gunman who threatened to blow up a bomb robbed a Walgreens in Chadds Ford Township at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, getting away with four bottles of oxycodone, police said.

The robber was approximately 6 feet tall and between 30 and 45 years old, police said. He had the word love tattooed on the fingers of his left hand, as well as the Taurus zodiac symbol.

Police said he approached the pharmacy counter and handed the clerk a note stating that he had placed a bomb a half-mile away that would detonate in 30 seconds. The man had a gun tucked in his waistband.
