Man critically wounded in North Philly shooting

A 26-year-old man was shot several times Tuesday night in North Philadelphia, authorities said.

Police said the shooting took place around 10 p.m. at 18th Street and Ridge Avenue. The man was shot several times, at least twice in the chest.

He was listed in critical condition at Hahnemann University Hospital, police said.

No arrests have been made at this time, and police have not determined a motive.   - Kia Gregory
