Person fatally struck by train near Pennbrook Station

An as of yet unidentified person was struck and killed by a train along the Landsdale/Doylestown Regional Rail line near Pennbrook Station, according to SEPTA.

The incident occurred about 7:40 a.m. Service on the line did not return to normal until 11 a.m.

A SEPTA spokeswoman said details about how the death occurred are still unknown.
