2 dead, 5 wounded in 5 separate shootings in Phila.

Two people were killed and five others were wounded in separate shootings Monday and early today in different parts of the city, police said.

The latest shooting occurred just after midnight when a man riding a dirt bike was critically wounded on the 5800 block of Whitby Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, police said.

The man, in his 30s, was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with bullet wounds to the left shoulder and head.

Police reported the following shootings on Monday:

- Charles Britten,19, man was shot multiple times on Cambria Street near Stiles in North Philadelphia Monday afternoon. Britten, of the 2500 block of Silver Street, was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m. at Temple University Hospital.

- Davonte Colemen, 18, was shot four times and another 18-year-old man was hit in the lower left arm around 9 p.m. on Tiber Street near Wyoming Avenue in Hunting Park. Coleman, of the 200 block of East Wyoming Avenue, was pronounced dead at 9:20 p.m. at Temple University Hospital.

- A 17-year-old boy was shot in the left arm and buttocks about 3:30 p.m. on 25th Street near Stiles in North Philadelphia. He was reported in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.

- A 17-year-old boy was shot in the head and his 23-month-old nephew was hit in the shoulder about 4:10 p.m. when gunmen opened fire on the 2100 block of Orleans Street in Kensington. The teen was reported in extremely critical condition at Temple University Hospital. The toddler was in stable condition at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

No arrests have been reported in any of the shootings.
