Woman dead in Montco house fire

An elderly woman was killed in a house fire this afternoon in Montgomery County, authorities said.

The fire broke out around 3:15 p.m. in a home on the 200 block of Niantic Road in Douglass Township, a county emergency radio dispatcher said.    - Darran Simon
