A 38-year-old Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged with leaving his young daughters in the car while he belatedly celebrated his birthday with a late night visit to the Parx Casino in Bucks County.

Tan Duy Truong, of the 9600 block of Hoff Street, is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and public drunkenness in the latest incident of a gambler leaving children in a car.

Bensalem police said they were called about 1:20 a.m. Thursday by casino security who reported they had found a silver Toyota Sienna with two girls, ages 6 and 8, inside.

Security began a search for their parent and found him at 1:45 a.m. inside the casino, police said.

Investigators later determined that Truong entered the Casino at 12:50 a.m.

Troung, whose birthday was Oct. 10. is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 1 for a preliminary hearing, court records show.
