Man reports ‘nasty’ pot to police

"What was he smoking?"

"What was he smoking?"

That was a relevant question in a recent police case in Western Pennsylvania.

A 21-year-old Uniontown man apparently asked himself that very question after buying dubious marijuana.

The Fayette County 911 dispatcher may have thought of the same question when the man called Wednesday to report the wretched weed.

The police wanted to find out the answer, too, so they went to the man's house on Millview Street.

The man showed some green stuff he'd smoked, and said, "It was nasty," according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Testing gave only a partial answer.

What he was smoking was something other than marijuana.

Police thought maybe it was spices, according to WTAE-TV, an ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh.

What, if any, charges the man might face are not yet clear.

Calls to Uniontown police for more information - including an explanation of possible charges - were not immediately returned.
