‘Amber Alert’ boy found safe in S. Jersey

Terry Dusseault Jr., the 8-year-old boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert issued Tuesday, has been found safe, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.

Terry Dusseault Jr., the 8-year-old boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert issued Tuesday, has been found safe, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.

He was with his father, Terry Dusseault, Sr., at the ShopRite in Medford Township, officials said.

The father was taken into custody.

Dusseault disappeared with the boy Tuesday as he was about to be arrested on sexual-assault charges involving three Burlington County juveniles over the past year and a half, said Joel Bewley, spokesman for the prosecutor's office.

The boy lived in Lumberton with his father, who is a registered sex offender in North Carolina, and an uncle.

Police issued the alert after the uncle, who is Dusseault's brother, told authorities he was concerned about Dusseault's mental status.
