Man shot during robbery in Oxford Circle

A 50-year-old man was shot in both legs during a robbery Friday night in the city's Oxford Circle section, police said.

The shooting occurred about 8:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Barnett Street, police said. The victim, who lives in the 1200 block of Levick Street, was reported in stable condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

The suspect was seen fleeing in a green Chevrolet Blazer going north on Castor Avenue. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video from a nearby Dunkin' Donuts to see if the shooting or fleeing vehicle was recorded.
