Minutes after a woman had her purse stolen at gunpoint by two males in West Chester on Sunday, surveillance video showed a female attempting to use the victim's credit card, police said Friday.

The armed robbery, the first of two that evening, occurred in the 500 block of South High Street at 10:30 p.m., police said. The attempt to use the credit-card took place 10 minutes later at a convenience store at Dilworthtown Road and Rt. 202 in nearby Chadds Ford Township, said police, who are seeking help to identify the woman who was photographed.

The second holdup occurred at 11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of North Wayne Street. The victim, who had his laptop taken, had been sitting on his porch, police said.

Police said they believe the same men committed both crimes. One was described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s wearing a red sweatshirt with dark jeans; dark, curly, shaggy hair; and a light-colored handgun. The second was a white male with a thin build, blond hair and light eyes, wearing a black T-shirt and dark jean shorts, police said.
