Jackpots hit in Powerball, Mega Millions

Both major multistate jackpots produced big winners this week - and rebooted.

Both major multistate jackpots produced big winners this week - and rebooted.

Wednesday night, two Powerball tickets - sold in Montana and Ohio - matched all the numbers drawn. They'll split a jackpot whose annuity value was put at $96.9 million.

A Maine ticket won $1 million for matching the first five numbers - 11, 30, 45, 47 and 48 - while having the Power Play multiplier option. That player missed only the Powerball, which was 10.

Winning $200,000 for matching just the first five were three tickets, sold in Florida, Georgia and Massachusetts.

Saturday's jackpot will be $20 million, or $10.4 million cash.

On Tuesday night, a single New York ticket hit all the numbers in Mega Millions, whose jackpot was worth $26 million in yearly payments.

Two New Jersey tickets and one bought in Lebanon, Pa. (at a Turkey Hill on South Lincoln Avenue) won $250,000 for having the first five numbers - 12, 17, 21, 23 and 30, but not the Mega Ball of 24.

Eight other players had the same combination - three in Ohio and one each in California, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Texas and Wisconsin.

Friday's jackpot will be worth $12 million, or $7.8 million cash.
