Eagles announce single-game ticket sales

Fans can buy seats to individual Eagles games starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday through Ticketmaster.

Fans can buy seats to individual Eagles games starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday through Ticketmaster.

As usual, all sales will be done online or by phone.

Every year, the seats for the eight regular-season games vanish rapidly - some games in minutes, the rest within a half-hour.

For that reason, trying for a less popular game - like Thursday night, Dec. 2, against the Houston Texans - is more likely to succeed than greedily going for Donovan McNabb's Oct. 3 return with the Washington Redskins.

Tickets for two preseason games also go on sale.

The cost is $70 to $95 each, plus taxes and fees - the same as last year. The limit is four tickets per person.

Ticketmaster's national sales number is 1-800-745-3000, and its "express" self-service line is 1-866-448-7849. But fans often try to get operators in other cities. To find a number, go to this page and click a state: www.ticketmaster.com/h/orderbyphone.html.

Fans using Ticketmaster.com are advised to have an account and log in early to expedite the purchase.

Tickets will not be sold at Ticketmaster retail outlets or the Lincoln Financial Field.
